Originally a software developer and investment analyst, he helped launch and sell several businesses focused on finance and investment technology products. He co-founded the Hub88 technology accelerator, now acquired by 1871. Phil currently runs TheStartupMagazine.com, an online entrepreneurship publication.

Mark is highly experienced in the architecture, development, analysis, support, and management of high reliability, real-time and embedded systems with a 30+ year history in Voice and Data communications. He now runs a boutique consultancy to pass on hard-won learnings in R&D, Technical Sales and Support, Offshoring, Organization Design (and many others) to other companies.

He co-founded the tech accelerator, Hub88, now acquired by 1871, and was a founding board member of the ConVerge Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at North Central College.
